A very fine quality antique Burma teak wood dresser bookcase from a large plantation house in northern India. Dating from around 1890-1900, this fine and original antique piece would have been widely found in the kitchens of large houses of the time. This is a wonderful original example with beautifil painted patination built up over a centure or more, with 6 strong shelves. Today these are repurposed in kitchens, studies and home offices as storage or bookcases.
