WOODEN BEE SKEP STYLE BIRD NESTER STYLE 1

Our new for 2026, our sustainably produced wooden Bee Skep Style Nester made from Acaia wood.

All our wooden bird nester boxes are manufactured using FSC certificated acacia hard wood in a Fairtrade environment, and come protected with a non-toxic food safe grade preservative to help cope with the UK climate. Each has a round base (or top for the acorn model) that can be quickly and easily removed and put back in to position for annual cleaning. The bird entry holes are based on RSPB guidance for small British birds like tits, robins, finches and sparrows, and help protect eggs and young from predators entering the box.

We have also followed RSPB advice against perch poles, which allow predators to attack the young and adult birds alike, and our decorative iron bees on the skep designs are far enough away from the entry hole to be used for this purpose. Each nester comes with a strong iron chain and shook for hanging, which can also be unscrewed should you wish. We also provide a wall or fence mounting iron kit should you need one.
