A very fine quality astral glazed antique Burma teak wood Library Cabinet from Calcutta. These were widely used in the libraries and senior civil servant homes in major Indian cities during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This is a wonderful original 2 door example with 4 strong shelves and dates from between 1890-1920. A fine original example whilst in good original condition, comes with the odd blemish that you would expect of an antique of this age. Dimensions: Length 112 x Width 48 x Height 184cm
