Description
A fine antique Indian 4 tier example of a kitchen teak wood storage rack dating from the early 1900’s, in great original condition, with sturdy and deep shelves and fine painted patination that has built up over a century or more. These racks woukd have been found in the kitchens of most large town or city houses with domestic help, and were used to store pots, pans and kilners. Today they are much sought after for Retail Display, as well as for their original purpose, back in large kitchens, pantries and utility rooms. A really fine original example which whilst in good original condition, comes with the odd blemish that you would expect of an antique of this age. Dimensions: Length 89 x Width 48 x Height 157cm
