This lovely teak Jali window (Jali meaning literally ‘see through’) has been salvaged from an old building in Gujarat State and saved for future generations! It is a nineteenth century original! It has fabulous hand carving and a patina built up over centuries. We have converted it in to a mirror, which would look great in an old cottage or displayed in a modern house on a feature wall. These windows are saved from buildings in India which have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer repairable. This is clearly an old piece and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
