A really lovely decorative antique Indian teak wood painted drinks casket, bound with iron and brass fittings in fantastic original condition, with fine old ‘Jodhpur blue’ and rainbow relief paint remanants and 6 compartments for your bottles. Dating from approximately 1900. As with all objects of this age, it comes with a few minor blemishes as you would expect. A lovely useful and decorative piece that would make for a great study, dining room or lounge drinks storage casket. Definitely originally for alcohol rather than medicine because of the high quality painting work. A real gem!
