Description
Our antique Indian teak wood coat hook panels (khoote wali patti in Hindi) have been beautifully made by artisans in Rajasthan using salvaged and repurposed old teak window, door and balcony frames that date from around 1800-1900s. We have also used antiqued iron coat hooks. The integrity of the teak architecture panels have been sensitively preserved wherever possible, and we have just inserted two iron screw holders for the back, so they are ready to hang & beautify any hall, bedroom or waiting room. The specific uses and names of these wooden frames varied dependent on their intended purpose and the culture of the time and these particular frames were used to create window ( khidki in Hindi) frames. All come in great original condition, and as an old piece, there are some historic age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description. Please note that the measurements given are an average for the stock we hold of these wall hook panels. If you need exact measurements, please ask before purchasing. Dimensions: Length 124cm x Height 15cm x Depth 4cm.
