Description
Our antique Indian teak wood mirrors are made from repurposed and salvaged old teak Indian window frames, door surrounds and architectural carvings. They are mostly carved and with traces of the original paint which gives them so much character, as this one does. The reclaimed teak wood comes from old buildings that are too dilapidated to repair, in Rajasthan, Gujarat State and Northern India and through repurposing are saved for future generations as mirrors! They are all nineteenth (or earlier) century originals. Each mirror comes with hanging hooks on the rear, sometimes with some minor restoration required to ensure they reach you in original but fully functional solid condition. Our mirrors are happy indoors or outside. As an old piece and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description. Dimensions: Length 160 x Width 10 x Height 108cm
